Refurbishment of the Induction Coil
In the Mencl Guss foundry, the following actions were undertaken:
- Determination of the coil damage extent.
- Removal of the original coil filler at the damaged area.
- Removal of the original insulation outside the coil at the damaged area.
- Soldering of the damaged area, possibly with relining.
- Chemical cleaning of deposits inside the profile.
- Conducting the pressure test.
- Documentation of the pressure test.
- Replacement of missing or damaged micanite spacers at the damaged areas.
- Bandaging the coil with insulation tape to the original extent at the damaged areas.
- Twice impregnation of the damaged area with varnish.
- Implementation of insulation on the coil profile.
- Final inspection of the coil.
- Packaging and preparation for dispatch.

We were looking for a cheaper but reliable solution for refurbishing the induction coil of our JUNKER furnace. Eventually, we agreed with BV COILS on a local repair, which was sufficient for our needs. The coil is now reinstalled in the furnace. Everything works perfectly.
